Our PTO

Sunset PTO is a partnership between parents, guardians, and staff to promote cooperation and goodwill within our school community and to improve and enrich the Sunset Elementary experience for every student. We encourage parent participation in a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the year and provide fundraising projects to support needs that are otherwise underfunded, that benefit the entire student population, and that support teachers and staff in providing academic excellence.

Membership

PTO membership is open to any parent or guardian of a student enrolled at Sunset Elementary, as well as to employees of the school. Membership dues are determined prior to the start of each school year. For the 2023-2024 academic school year, Sunset PTO Membership is $20 and includes access to our exclusive Online Directory.

In addition, membership includes one vote per family towards the election of board members in the Spring. We encourage PTO members to attend our General Meetings, held twice a year.
